The 2025/26 Pre-season Begins for Valencia CF

Several Valencia CF players have already undergone their medical tests at IMED Hospitales and the Ciudad Deportiva.
Valencia CF has officially started the 2025/26 pre-season with the required medical and fitness tests at IMED Hospitales and the Ciudad Deportiva. The first training sessions have also begun.
José Luis Gayà, Hugo Duro, Luis Rioja and Cristian Rivero were the first first-team players to return and complete their medical check-ups as part of the preparation for the friendly matches ahead of the start of LALIGA EA SPORTS 2025/26.
Pre-season Matches
Valencia CF will play on 19 July at 19:00 at the Ciudad Deportiva against CD Castellón; on 23 July at 19:00, also at the Ciudad Deportiva, against CD Leganés; on 29 July at 20:30 at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada in Tarragona, facing Olympique de Marseille from Ligue 1 in the ‘AirCup’; and against Borussia Mönchengladbach from the Bundesliga on 2 August at 20:30 at Borussia Park to celebrate the German club’s 125th anniversary.
LALIGA EA SPORTS 25-26
The squad coached by Carlos Corberán already knows their schedule following the draw held by the RFEF in San Juan de la Nava. Valencia CF will start the national competition against Real Sociedad at Mestalla on the weekend of 16/17 August, with the exact time yet to be confirmed.
